I am proud to have raised the bar of grooming quality and care, and I consider it an honor to be 1 of only 10 pet grooming professionals in the entire USA to be awarded membership in The Pet Professional Guild, the only professional pet industry member association that advocates for force-free dog training and pet care. We are also proud members of the National Dog Groomers Association of America.
With over one thousand clients regularly driving in from across a 70 mile radius, Haute Paws Grooming is proud to be recognized as one of the premier grooming salons in the Pacific Northwest, also earning and maintaining the title of "Best Grooming" in the entire Spokane Region.
I love what I do and work hard to provide a positive, low stress, force-free, and fear-free experience for all of my grooming clients. I am a certified all-breed groomer and graduate with honors who brings to my grooming table over three decades of grooming experience and hands-on lessons learned from top groomers and handlers during my years spent showing dogs.
Grooming show dogs not only taught me how to turn out a dog in way that brings out its best qualities but how to best represent its breed. Living with both show dogs and companion dogs also taught me how to groom a dog for life outside of the show ring so that the coat is both manageable and neat for everyday activities while still maintaining the look and personality of who he is.
I am committed to providing a safe and gentle environment for your beloved pet and do everything within my means to ensure a positive experience for him or her.
I became a professional pet groomer because of my passion for animals and my passion for grooming. My motto is “A soft voice, a gentle touch”. My reward is presenting a freshly groomed pet to its owner who looks great, feels great, and is happy.

Sandi is the first pet grooming professional in the state of Washington, and one of only a few groomers in the entire USA to qualify for membership in The Pet Professional Guild. The membership application process is rigorous. To qualify for membership in The Pet Professional Guild, pet grooming professionals commit to abiding by the PPG's Guiding Principles. They also commit to a pet grooming philosophy that focuses on the needs of the pet, reinforcing calm behaviors and treating them kindly and with respect. This philosophy ensures that the grooming services are focused primarily on the needs of the pet and secondly on the "technical accuracy" of the service. By booking wider appointment slots, the grooming "rush" is eliminated, the stressful environment is minimized, and the pets remain calmer. Keeping pets mentally and physically safe and healthy is the most important thing.
