Sandi is the first pet grooming professional in the state of Washington, and one of only 10 professional groomers in the entire USA to qualify for membership in The Pet Professional Guild. The membership application process is rigorous. To qualify for membership in The Pet Professional Guild, pet grooming professionals commit to abiding by the PPG's Guiding Principles. They also commit to a pet grooming philosophy that focuses on the needs of the pet, reinforcing calm behaviors and treating them kindly and with respect. This philosophy ensures that the grooming services are focused primarily on the needs of the pet and secondly on the "technical accuracy" of the service. By booking wider appointment slots, the grooming "rush" is eliminated, the stressful environment is minimized, and the pets remain calmer. Keeping pets mentally and physically safe and healthy is the most important thing.
